Hi, I’m Oscar.
I’m a professional wedding photographer based in London, photographing weddings throughout the UK and abroad.
I have always found photographing people fascinating, trying to capture them in their best light and illustrating their story.
My choice to pursue a career in wedding photography has been driven by what I have always been drawn to in photography: capturing people and their personalities. Combining this enthusiasm with the responsibility of recording this most important day of a couple’s life together, allows me to create images full of passion and happiness; images that will hold hundreds of memories for years to come. It is the most rewarding assignment I could imagine.
Before started my career in wedding photography I studied BA Fashion Photography at London College of Fashion, after graduating I began to work in the fashion industry whilst taking on events photography commissions. I’ve always concentrated on portraiture, and I’ve had my fashion photography and portraiture published in British Vogue, and my portraiture published in various magazines including ELLE Russia, Company Magazine, NME, Mojo Magazine, Nylon magazines and on blogs such as Rock n Roll Bride.
With my events photography I had the great opportunity of working as a main contributor to the book Festival Annual, taking portraits at some of Britain’s biggest festivals. To see examples of these projects and press features, please click here.
Aside from photography I enjoy listening to music, drinking good coffee, wondering around art galleries, catching new films at the cinema, exploring new places and soaking in new experiences, travelling, and now and then, hurtling down a hill on my mountain bike.
To capture your big day in memorable and beautiful photographs, I combine elements of documentary and portrait photography. I believe that the documentary approach to wedding photography really tells the story of your wedding, capturing the atmosphere of your day in the genuine moments and interactions between you and your guests. The photos will bring memories flooding back every time you look at them.
